Install CADINU on your phone

CADINU is a web app: you install it from your browser, not from an app store. Once installed it has its own icon, opens full screen like an app, and updates itself every time CADINU releases a new version. Your wallet connects exactly as on the website.

What you need: Chrome (Android), Safari (iPhone or iPad), or Chrome or Edge on a computer, and apps.cadinu.io open in it.

  1. Edge and Samsung Internet work the same way.

  2. On a phone, a line Install CADINU appears at the top of the page once: tap Install. You can also open More (bottom bar) and tap Install app, or use the browser menu ⋮ and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

  3. Tap Install in the browser’s dialog. The CADINU icon appears on your home screen and in your app list.

  1. The line Install CADINU at the top of the page (or More → Install app) shows these same steps.

  2. The square with an arrow pointing up: in the toolbar at the bottom on iPhone, at the top right on iPad.

  3. Scroll down the share sheet, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

  4. From now on, open CADINU with its icon. It runs full screen, without Safari’s bars.

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open ⋯ (More) and choose Install app. In Safari on a Mac: File → Add to Dock.

Alerts are notifications on this device. Public alerts are for everyone: a trading competition goes live, a CADINU announcement. Personal alerts are about your own wallet, for example a prize ready to claim. One switch turns them on or off.

  1. The switch next to Alerts shows whether alerts are on for this device right now. The same switch is on your profile: Profile → Alerts on this device.

  2. Your browser asks whether CADINU may show notifications: choose Allow. CADINU asks only when you tap the switch. Public alerts are on at once: no signature, and no wallet is needed.

  3. Personal alerts need a claimed profile. If your profile signature on this device is recent (it is kept for 10 hours), the same tap turns them on too, without signing again. If not, a line appears: For personal alerts, claim your profile (one free signature). Tap it and sign on your profile page (claim, or confirm it’s you): personal alerts then switch on by themselves and stay on. The signature is free and is not a transaction.

iPhone and iPad: alerts work only in the installed app, on iOS 16.4 or newer. Install CADINU first (above), open it from your Home Screen, then More → Alerts. In Safari in a tab, the switch says Only in the installed app, and tapping it shows how to install.

Switch alerts off: tap the same switch (More → Alerts, or on your profile). Your device is removed from CADINU’s list at once, public and personal alerts together. You can also block CADINU’s notifications in your phone’s or browser’s settings.

What you see What to do
No Install button or line You may be in a wallet’s built-in browser, or CADINU is already installed. Open apps.cadinu.io in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone), or use the browser menu. On iPhone, installing is always Share → Add to Home Screen.
“Blocked in browser settings” Allow them again. Android Chrome: tap the icon left of the address, Permissions or Site settings → Notifications → Allow. iPhone: Settings → Notifications → CADINU.
“Only in the installed app” (iPhone, iPad) Install CADINU to your Home Screen, open it from there, then turn alerts on.
“On: public alerts” and no personal alerts Sign once on your profile page on this device (claim, or confirm it’s you: free, no transaction): More → the line under Alerts. Personal alerts then switch on by themselves.
“Alerts are not switched on yet” CADINU has not opened alerts on this site yet. Nothing to do on your side; check back later.
“You are offline” Your device has no connection. CADINU needs one to show prices and to send transactions; tap Try again when you are back online.
The app looks out of date Nothing to do: the installed app loads the latest version every time it opens a page.

To remove the app, long-press its icon and choose Uninstall or Remove App. Your wallet, your profile and your funds are not affected.
